Edson  was born and raised in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. He has been part of AIS for the past 8 years. He is very proud of the maintenance team, and his priority every day is to make the campus perfect for the students.

Jose Antonio was born in Antigua. He studies Industrial Engineering at Universidad Rural de Guatemala. What he likes the most about AIS is learning every day. His biggest dream is to graduate from college

Paola was born in Jocotenango. She studied nursing and,  in her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and 2 children.

Armendio Shoc
Armendio was born in San Juan Alotenango. He has 10 years of experience in gardening and he has 6 years with us at AIS. During the weekends he likes to play soccer and spend time with his 4 children.

Adalberto is originally from Ciudad Vieja. He loves working in the garden and also in construction. His greatest joy is spending time with his family. He enjoys his work because the garden makes him feel at peace.

Originally from San Antonio Aguas Calientes Eddy has been working at AIS for 1 year. In his free time he likes to play soccer with his family and friends.

Aura was born in San Lorenzo en Cubo, and has been part of  the AIS community  for the past 9 years. She loves her job at AIS, and she particularly enjoys her free time making flower arrangements.

Antonio was born in San Juan Alotenango. He has 9 years of experience in gardening. He worked in Hotel La Reunion Golf Resort for 3 years before joining us at AIS 6 years ago. In his free time he likes to spend time with his two children.

Gerson Funes - CHEF
Chef Funes brings extensive experience in both the culinary and administrative fields, including his work in school food services at an international school, as well as solid training in fine cuisine, pastry, and culinary team management. Gerson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and professional training in Gastronomy, Pastry, and Haute Cuisine, complemented by several diplomas and international internships.
